Light up your plants
The days are getting longer and it’s the perfect time to enjoy the evenings on your balcony or garden. Installing a few lights in your outdoor space changes its entire mood. Here are a few lighting ideas you can try at home and delight your guests when you will host drinks or dinner alfresco. I like to keep things simple, especially when I am hosting. Forget the multicolor disco lights, unless you are throwing a themed party, and go for a lighting plan that is functional and easy to maintain.
Refuse, Reduce & Reuse
A subject that is dear to me is decluttering. Being a minimalist and having to compose with what I have, often pushed me to become more creative! 3 things about Charlotte Perriand
Charlotte Perriand was a French architect and designer, who worked with Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Jean Prouvé. She remains one of the most influential designers of the 20th Century.
The art of hanging art

Rugs - go crazy or go neutral
A rug is an accessory like shoes are for an outfit. Either you go for a statement rug that defines the space, like your fabulous Jimmy Choos with a LBD, or you harmonize the place by setting a stage for the art or furniture to shine.
Dress your walls
Do you remember the 70s and their flower power wallpapers? The art and technique of covering walls have evolved tremendously in the past years. We now use the term “wallcovering” instead of “wallpaper”.
